PA Region Belgrade is a member of the biggest police association in the world, which gathers more than 800 000 members in 70 countries all over the world. It is based on principles which are founded on articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 10 December 1948. It was registered on the basis of it’s goals at the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the Organisation of United States of America with the consultative status as an international organisation, which maintains the relationship with UNESCO and EUROPOL.
The main goal of our organisation is to spread friendship between police associations from all over the world, regardless of rank, gender, colour of the skin, race, language and religion.
Our motto ”Servo per Amikeco” (Service through a friendship) has got through to many people in order to build bridges of a friendship and international collaboration between police officers.
The Region of Belgrade may provide advisory services to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other state organs of the Republic of Serbia in accordance with the goals and tasks of the Section Serbia and the International Police Association.
